Gold Jewelry
To minimize prolonged on gold jewelry exposure to moisture and chemicals that can cause tarnishing and wear, we recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or cleaning.
Sterling Silver Jewelry
Tarnishing of sterling silver is normal with time, especially when it is exposed to moisture or chemicals. Washing your hands while wearing silver rings is perfectly fine, just make sure to dry them afterwards to ensure no moisture remains that can cause tarnishing.
Pearl Jewelry
Pearls will maintain their luster if worn frequently, as the natural oils on our skin help to maintain their appearance. However, it is imperative to protect your pearls from exposure to any harsh chemicals such as those found in perfumes, hand sanitizers, soaps, and cleaning products. These chemicals can wear away at the pearl’s surface and create a dull appearance. Pearls can be carefully washed using a very gentle unscented soap and dried with a soft cloth.
Resin
Water and mild soap can be used to clean or lightly polish the setting without damaging it. However,a little goes a very long way with soap. As such, it is important to limit its use and to thoroughly rinse the piece before wearing it again. The resin is durable, but is sensitive to impact with hard surfaces. When not being worn, they’re best stored at room temperature in an air-tight compartment.
